Koben had his first dentist appointment on Friday afternoon. He did so great! He was a little trooper and all the ladies were loving him :-) His teeth looked good and she said we/he have been brushing well. He does have a pretty big gap between his two front teeth which we asked about. They informed us that the skin hangs too low between his teeth and that when he is older he will need surgery to correct it. From the looks of his bite also, they figure he may need braces when he is older. Avery had the same problem with his teeth and that was the reason he needed braces. That is waaaay far off though, but something to think about. They checked his last molar for me (which has been slowly coming in forever!) and said it is almost all the way in. Poor kid, he still is chewing on his toys occasionally, I'm sure it hasn't been fun for him. He loved the dentist though and we were so proud of him! He is getting so big and all his teeth are almost in. I love that kids more than words can say. I seriously almost cried at the dentist office, seeing what a big boy he is made me a little emotional :-)

Way to go Kellan, what a big boy! I'm impressed he didn't freak out. Hailey has no interest in going to the dentist, I'm dreading the day we have to take her. We have a book that she likes to read about going to the dentist, but always says "we'll go to the Bentist (yes, Bentist) later, ok Mom?"
