Back to Preschool!

Koben started preschool again last week. He will be going Mon/Wed/Fri mornings. He was sooo excited to go back. We did do one week of summer camp this summer with his teacher from last year, Teacher Claire (who we will miss a ton, but see next year when Kellan starts!), but he could not wait to see all his friends and meet some new ones. It took me forever to post this beacause we are moving AGAIN. It has been stressful on everyone to say the least, but we are moving back to our old house (long story, but it all worked out for the best). So here it finally is! He got right back into the swing of things, and loves his new teachers.

 

I have especially enjoyed getting to know Teacher Rachael. She was very helpful when we discussed the topic of  kindergarten. I don't know if Koben will be going to elementary school next year or not. We may wait until he is 6 (he turns five next June). We don't want him to feel frustrated at school...etc., we want him to surely be ready and  be able to fully enjoy it. The class next year that he would be in is also more structured and would be a better "prep" class for him as well, so it sounds like it would be the best route to take :) But we will see how the year goes and I'm hoping to get in more learning time with the kiddos.

 

My workday is Friday's this school year which is really great because Avery currently has Fridays off, so right now we don't have to worry about childcare/swapping for Kellan(I am swapping with Erin for our Wednesday meetings once a month, who I swapped with last year). Avery can now work in class once in a while too if he wants, and he's really excited to see Koben in action.We are excited for another year full of learning, activities, outings and fun!
