3 Months Old Today!

Kellan is now a 3 months old. I have to say that we have been pretty lucky. He has so far been an awesome baby. He is really content, always smiling, laughing or sleeping, and now sleeps through the night. He rolls over from back to front. He is always very aware of his surroundings, and especially loves watching and listening to koben already (Koben's favorite thing to do is give him raspberries on his tummy). He is trying to grasp things now, and wanting to put everything in his mouth. It is so cute when he gets mad that he can't get a good grip on something to bring it to his mouth. He grunts and flails his whole body. He seems to be one very smart and strong little dude.

I took him to the pediatrician today because we have been having a some issues with breastfeeding. I keep getting a clogged milk duct which has not been too fun. I thought maybe kellan had a little cold also, which could be one of the reasons he has been fussy during his feedings (I haven't been eating anything out of the ordinary). Everything was fine, and they think he may be teething, which was what I thought since Koben had his first tooth come in

at 2 1/2 months. We'll see how everything turns out. As long as he is gaining weight, that is all that matters. He now weighs 15 lbs 12 oz. so I don't think we have any problems in that area!

I feel like I am just finally starting to get the hang of things. It has been absolutely wonderful having my two babies, but I'm not gonna lie, it has been exhausting. Thank goodness Avery works so close to home now to help a little in the evening, so mama gets a break. He really has been so great and supportive. I'm hoping I can try and get Kellan on a schedule in a month or so. Once that happens I think I will feel a little more organized. All in all, I feel really great about how everything has been going. Both the boys are doing very well and I have actually gotten numerous comments on how well behaved and cute they both are. I love that! Makes a mama feel good!
