Baby Update!

I have been really bad about blogging about my pregnancy.

I have just been super tired lately and will try and update

more often. I'll also be changing the link to our blog, since

we will soon be a family of four!

I went in for a checkup today with Dr. Walker. I absolutely

love her, and would travel miles just to have her deliver

my babies. She informed me that she is 18weeks

pregnant with her third child, so besides all the techinical

doctor stuff, we usually chit chat about mommyhood

at my appointments. She thinks that this next little guy

is going to be as big, if not bigger than Koben. They are

monitoring the babies weight, and I will have another

ultrasound in about a month. If the baby is 10 lbs (or close

to it) I will be having a c-section. I'm hoping that this will

not be the case.

With this pregnancy, it seems that I feel the baby moving

a lot more than I did with Koben. Maybe my body is just

more aware now. He kicks me so hard, it sometimes hurts!

I never experienced this with Koben. Even though it's

uncomfortable, I love it because it is special to feel him

move in any way. It really makes me think of my pregnancy

with Koben, and how lucky I am to be able to experience

twice now how it feels to carry a child. He rolls a lot too!

I love that Avery is still just as excited to watch my belly

"move" as he was with Koben.

Koben likes to kiss my tummy and say baby, or snuggle

on my tummy. I think he kind of gets it, but not really.

I've been looking for a good big brother book, but have yet

to find one I like. I am soooo excited to see Koben and

his little brother together. Yeah, I'm a little nervous, but

once I see them together, I know my heart will melt and

everything will come together. We just have to get into the

groove of things. Seeing other friends with a toddler and an

infant has really been great, and I get some good tips. Plus

a couple of gals I met through my moms group will also

have children the same age, so that will be a lot of fun.

I can't beleive I am in my third trimester! It has went by

so fast. I've been feeling really good. Just tired and now

sleeping is getting a bit uncomfortable. My due date is June

18. I think we are going to do Koben's 2nd birthday early

since it's so close. Can't beleive my baby will be two soon!

I have been really nostalgic and emotional, and going

through pictures of Koben. It's goes so fast, and

when I'm holding him or playing with him I remind myself

to cherish the moment, because he will never be this

little again. My sweet baby boy, who will now be

the big brother.

Ok, now that I've written a book, I better get off now.

I will update on the pregnancy more frequently.

It's 10:30, why am I not sleeping?! :-)
