Progress!

We have had Koben's potty seat in the bathroom for quite some
time now. He will periodically use it if we put him on it. Well in
the last three days he has asked to use his potty six times now.
Once today, when we came home from toddler gym. He will say
"potty" and grab his diaper and then go to the bathroom door.
Each time he really did need to go! So we of course clap and make
a huge deal out of it, and give high-fives. He seems so proud
of himself. We do not expect him to be potty trained soon
or anything, but this is awesome progress! It just goes to show
how much older he is getting, and how much he is
learning and communicating now. Also, when we put him to
bed at night, we usually rock him until he is almost completely
asleep. Now I will rock him a little bit and either say
"do you want mommy to lay you in your bed?" or "mommy is
going to put you in bed now." I lay him down and say "night-night,
mommy loves you, see you in the morning."
He will then say "bye" and blow kisses until I shut his
door and he falls asleep on his own. It is the sweetest thing,
especially the repeated bye's and kisses. We love it!
Makes me want to cry everytime! I just had to share these
"big boy" things our little man is doing now!
